Galaxy Cluster near Centaurus A

Quote from Dave on February 23, 2021, 10:23 pmHi folks.
I've recently imaged Centaurus A and noticed a cluster of galaxies which include NGC5082, 5086, 5090 & 5091.
There are numerous other galaxies in the field of view which I'd like to identify.
How might I do that please?
Dave

You could check with a few galaxy catalogues to identify some of the galaxies you've imaged, the best place to start would be the NASA/IPAC Extragalactic Database (NED) on the web here: http://ned.ipac.caltech.edu/
You can search within a certain radius and see what galaxies you might have captured using that free online tool.
Happy hunting!
